The Windows 7 Aero theme adds some additional beauties to the Windows 7 interfaces, but definitely is a resource hog. Unless you care about the looking of your Windows 7, what they would like now is more performance juice from the OS, so disabling this feature is an essential step to add an additional speed boost to your computer.
To disable Windows Aero Theme (technique one):
Right Click anywhere on your Desktop, & then select Personalize.
Click on the Window Color tab.
Uncheck/Untick the checkbox for Enable Transparency.
Click on Open classic appearance properties for more color options.
A window will open up. Select a Standard or Basic theme for your Windows. The Standard Windows 7 theme is more preferred
Windows 7 Final users (technique two):
Right Click anywhere on your Desktop, & then select Personalize.
In the theme choice window, scroll down until you see Basic & high contrast themes.
Select any theme from that section. These themes use comparatively little resources on your computer. These themes can definitely reduce unnecessary lots on your computer & speed up your Windows 7. Windows Classic is more preferred.
